If by some chance it happens I am waiting a week to celebrate just to make sure it isn’t recalled for some reason

Minor setback. If you’d like to jump off the bandwagon that’s fine. You’re invited back any time you wish.

Not sure how a loss on the road to a playoff team, especially with the amount of uncharacteristic errors we had, has anyone jumping off. The ship sailing to Mission MSP is right on course, and got some unfortunate help with the Wentz injury.

I do think it’s funny all the Packer Backers going wild about their playoff chances after OT wins over 2 of the more dysfunctional teams in the league tho… lol ;-)

With the Wentz injury, anything short of a Super Bowl appearance is a failure

Exactly. My reaction after losing yesterday’s game was “meh.” Considering the high standards we’ve come to see out of this team this year I actually thought they played somewhat bad. Several dropped passes, plus two huge run plays given up.

They’re on a stretch where they beat a solid Rams team, then the Lions on a short week on the road, followed by a good Atlanta team on the road where they didn’t allow a TD, then finally maybe letting some fatigue and sloppiness catch up to them and lose to a decent Carolina team on the end of a road trip. Whether before the season or prior to that stretch, I think anyone would’ve been ecstatic to accept a 3-1 mark through that stretch. Ben Leber even said a few weeks ago that he’d actually prefer the Vikes lose again just to get some of that stuff out of their system. Would’ve been nice to keep pace with the Eagles in the #1 overall race but they’re dealing with their own issues now.

The only thing is that the vast majority of folks felt the same way about the Vikings with Bradford out. Now yes, Nick Foles has had a lot more NFL playing time and shown he’s not that great, but no one would’ve expected the Vikes to be in this position after losing our QB. Some experts still have the Eagles as the favorites in the NFC. You’re probably right, but we’ll see.

Good to get that loss out of the way before the meaningful games a month from now. Very hard to win 3 straight on the road in the NFL. Couple that with losing 3 lineman and it is no wonder the outcome. The sky is not falling….sheesh

What is this long 3 game ROAD trip I keep reading about? They hop on a private jet and fly into a city, check into a 5 star hotel, play a game hop on a private jet and sleep in their own bed that night. Thats really roughing it. coffee

I agree. Here in Chicago, the visiting teams get a State Police escort from Soldier Field back out to O’Hare after the game, running the left shoulder to get past the traffic,,,,,,

Here is how serious I am.
I’m actually going to the game tomorrow.
FYI last game I went to was in Bloomington.
The next game I go to will be in February.

OK, gotta go. Time to shave my chest and paint the purple “V” on it.

    Skol!

So this would have been the last Viking game you’ve been to until today? Possibly the worst football stadium ever. There was a football field size space between the stands and the football field.

BTW, how’d the chest shaving go…? blush

Seriously though,, are there any IDO’ers going to the superbowl this year? Regardless of who is playing in it?

At the average of $4500 per seat the question should be who can afford to go…..
