Don’t go nuts. Still lots of hard football ahead. Everything changes in round 1 and as we all know 1 injury can mean game over.

    1 game at a time.

If you lived through the 4 disappointments you wouldn’t be rushing to get tickets. In fact they have done nothing yet, haven’t even wrapped up the division. Like Grouse said…………….one step at a time.

Some year when the Vikes are mediocre, barely over .500 and back into the playoffs with no expectations they might actually win a Super Bowl.

…kind of like the ‘87 Twins

Still not planning on it in my lifetime though…

In 1975 and 1998 the Vikes were best team in the NFL in my opinion, but expectations were sky high..

I’ve lived thru the 4 Super Bowl debacles, and The numerous conference championship gafaws.
The scar tissue is very thick And I can’t be hurt anymore.
So I’m on the bandwagon,And as a matter of fact I am painting a purple V on my chest as we speak

The Broncos overcame several SB losses and have now won a few. 2017-18 is the Vikings step in that direction!

#1 team in the NFC. Home field through the SB!!

We should build them a new stadium so they will win again!

Philly had home field until last night when they lost and now have the same record as the Vikings. Few more games to go !!

..wait a minute, maybe they are that mediocre team this year and actually have a shot… don’t they have a 3rd string quarterback at the helm now?!?

Wait a minute, Not a 3rd string. NFL offensive player of the Month, and he’s the D 1 all time leading passer.

You have to start somewhere, ie BF and AR and TB.

BK, I’ll make my annual thank you to the tax payers of Hennepin County/MN for Target Field, Target Arena upgrades, and USBank Stadium!!

Looks like this might be the first year in many when we have a winning product in each!!

PS – I’m not much of a soccer fan but thanks for that one too!

No tickets for me. I can’t afford those, but I got my spot picked out for the parade route.

If you get your tickets and the Vikings don’t make it, most of us won’t have to fly anywhere to skelp the tickets.

It’s a little early to buy SB tickets. Each participating team gets roughly 17.5% of the seats, the stadium home team gets 5%, the NFL reserves about 25% for corporate sponsors, the other 29 teams share whats left.

All seats have the same face vale, which last year was $2200.

You ain’t kidding, I’ll never forgive Denny for taking a knee before halftime against the Falcons. They score there and they never have to worry about Gary missing a kick. Chilly in 2009 ranks right up there with all time Vikes choke jobs, too.

They do look good though, that was a nice win on the road against a good team yesterday and it’s clear they’re one of the best 6-8 teams in the whole league right now. The NFC is really stacked and the playoff games should be great so I’m hopeful but deep down I know they’ll screw it up somehow.

I went to bed last night after reading this thread… woke up at Midnight to the ghost of Drew Pearson… if that wasn’t enough, at 1:00am I was awoken by the ghost of Armen Terzian. Then, when I was just at my wits end – I was awoken again at 2:00am by the ghost of Gary Anderson..

Interesting. Not one packer fan making a comment on your super bowl chatter and still out of the darkness a dig at packer fans from DaveB. Somewhere there is a packer fan thinking (in the words of bugs bunny) “what a maroon”. Carry on!
