Think they will change the name of the trophy from the Lombardi trophy to the TB12 trophy if Brady wins?

Lots of game left with Mahomes at quarterback.

I agree, KC can explode in a short period of time

I have no horse in this race either, overall this whole SB has been disappointing to me, Call me old and ornery, the opening artis have great voices, but their renditions sucked in my opinion. and when I watch a program to be entertained that’s what I want, to be entertained, not to listen to listen to political statement from the NFL or anyone else. and so far the commercials have shown me that there’s very little imagination with these writers anymore.

    Amen to that!

The last team to play the Bucs was far more entertaining……

But not as good. The results are the same so it doesn’t matter.

The Bucs have held KC to 9 points…9.

Somehow that defense deserves the “MVP award.” A lot of NFL QBs would win this game with the weapons and dominant defense Brady has had. I respect what he’s done and the longevity of it, but this is less than he himself has ever had to do to win a SB.

Mahomes needed a o line. Brady did enough to win yet again.

I agree, the MVP is Tampa’s defense.

Tampa defense looks as good as they have the entire season.
Brady made great plays all night. Mahomes offense wasn’t let loose. Because Tampa said no

So glad to see Tom and the Bucs pull through. Total team win. The defense was dominant, and the offense put up points. Mahomes will win his fare share. Just not tonight.

Everyone thinks because Brady has been to 10 Superbowls and won 7 of them, and that Mahomes looks really good, that it will be easy for him to get back and possibly challenge Brady’s records some day. It doesn’t work like that. What NE did will not be repeated, everything just worked out perfect for that team, including Brady always giving them a team friendly salary as one of the top QB’s in the game. Mahome’s took the house money, now he will pay for it as his team diminishes. Just like Russell Wilson, Seattle was great as long as he was on his rookie deal, as soon as he takes his majority cut of the salary, the team suffers. Same going to happen to KC. Especially since the cap is actually going down this year. Cousins contract didn’t allow the Vikes to keep their defense strong. Rodgers contract has the Pack handcuffed. Just isn’t that easy.

Not 100% sure what happened with Wentz, but some issue, he took the big money, and now the team is suffering.

They should rename the trophy the Brady Trophy! Simply unreal what the GOAT is able to accomplish, particularly this year with a whole new team and he runs through his contemporaries Brees, Rodgers and Mahomes to a dominating SB win.

Also I think Mahomes/Reid/Bienemy deserve a lot of criticism for a terrible game plan. They knew they had 2 backup tackles starting and still went 5 man protection on 93% of passing plays, and I didn’t see the breakdown on 3/5/7 step drops yet, but I’m sure that will be heavily skewed toward long developing plays, which doesn’t work with backups vs an average pass rush. And Tampa’s front 4 was playing far ABOVE average in the playoffs. Little disappointed it wasn’t an epic game, but still have a ton of appreciation for TB12 and his unending dominance!!!

Tampa obviously had a game plan to limit what Tyreek Hill could do too. They got torched by that guy the last time they played and you could see that they weren’t going to let that happen again.

Thought the same when the talking heads were saying that. One thing Brady has the Mahomes does not is a genius level understanding of the game. Every aspect of it, not just what is happening on the field. Like Jedi warrior level mind control sh*t.

I didn’t like Winfield putting the 2 fingers in Hill’s face toward the end of the game. A play or 2 before that after being tackled it looked like Hill went over to the guy like he was saying nice play and/or trying to help him up.

I’m not for it at all. At that moment, it’s like, you’ve already beat them/him. Show some class. It was I guess payback from when Hill torched the Bucs earlier this season and flashed a piece sign at Winfield as he scored one of his TDs.

Speaking of Winfield, did anybody else see on his interception, he celebrated by Rowing The Boat!?!? Got a Gophers celebration in the Super Bowl! It got cutoff because there was a penalty on the play, so it wasn’t shown much.

Might be the closest MN gets to a SB win….

Commercials weren’t the greatest. Halftime show was terrible would rather have seen Boy George than who ever it was.

Yeah I guess I forgot Hill had done that. It’s not like Hill doesn’t do that crap all the time.
