KC in a close game. Brady made some questionable throws resulting in turnovers against Green Bay. The margin for error turnover wise is basically non-existent against KC.

Taking Tampa to cover the -3 1/2.

Well that’s deceiving. So are you taking Tampa to still lose and cover the 3.5 or are you taking them to win the game?

    I’m taking KC by 10. 31-21

KC by double digits. Just too much talent, to many offensive weapons. May be close early, but by the end it will be a blow out.

Jon is a gambler, he doesn’t care who wins as long as a buck or two slide his way.

    Whats the over / under?

Over/Under is anywhere from 55-1/2 to 57-1/2. If KC didn’t have 2 starting linemen out, I would easily bet the over.

Over under is 55 1/2 to 57 1/2 depending on the sportsbook.

    Agree on the under.

I don’t know if anyone on here will live long enough to see the Vikes win one.KC covers the spread.

I think they do too. Some on here have referenced the spread and other gambling facets; I don’t even gamble but for some reason I’m kind of drawn to the betting lines as they add a much more interesting wrinkle to predictions rather than the ol’ “who ya got to win?”

I gotta cheer for TB 12 and the Bucs. I don’t think it’ll be easy, KC is a beast! Bucs by 4!

Any other bettors here? Anybody get big into the super bowl props? I might play around with a few this year.

Used to do a fairly significant amount of betting on NFL games in general, but got burned too many times one season because of the unpredictability. Placed a few prop bets that have a max amount one year and lost all three. That was enough for this guy.

I will occasionally place a wager on a college football game because its much easier to predict.

    61orbt,

I listen to a betting podcast frequently, they also think the line should have moved up, but every time it moves up to 3-1/2 the bent nose professional bettors bet it back down to 3. That’s why these guys are leery about betting on KC. The bent nose guys usually have insider information and are right more than wrong.

Line closes at 3 points. Mattress Man puts down $3.46M on Tampa.

If I’m sitting in a Vegas Sports book right now, I’m stil taking Tampa -3.

    Here we go.

I don’t have a horse in this race , just rooting for my numbers , but holy s***, seems like the refs have already decided this one

The refs have totally decided……to call a penalty when they see one. Don’t have a horse either, but also haven’t seen a flag that wasn’t an obvious penalty.

I have no horse in this race either, overall this whole SB has been disappointing to me, Call me old and ornery, the opening artis have great voices, but their renditions sucked in my opinion. and when I watch a program to be entertained that’s what I want, to be entertained, not to listen to listen to political statement from the NFL or anyone else. and so far the commercials have shown me that there’s very little imagination with these writers anymore.
