Heads Up As your navigating through Red Wing!
A red nun navigational can is submerged just upstream of the Harbor Bar and towards the middle of the channel.
I pops up about a foot or so out of the water every now and then but it’s normally underwater. With a watchful eye, you’ve see a V wake or turbulent water at the location.
The river has dropped to 11.7′ as of this morning. The back channel and Colvill Park should be open soon if they aren’t already.
Running Farm and Fleet has a good supply of fatheads and crawlers at a price that’s affordable.
The Woodshed has it’s $50. per night rooms open and ready to rent. That’s not $50 per person, that’s two for $50.! Excellent pizza, I had it 3 times this last week (Large Pizza comes with 2 free upto $4. drinks) fantail shrimp, chicken wings, chicken strips and more.
Currently the Harbor Bar is open for beverages only. It’s looking like Thursday/Friday before the kitchen is stocked with food again.
I did see a few logs (not trees) floating through Red Wing over the weekend. Keep an eye out!
