Hello
Considering a trip up to Sun Set Lodge on Oak Island Sept 11 thru 15.
Wondering if anyone has been there this time of year and is willing to pass along some advice.
It will be my first time in the area.
I have a 20 Ft Pro Guide with 200HP, so I should be goods there.
Also, anyone have anything experience at this resort?
Appreciate any input.

We stayed at a private cabin on oak this July but went to lunch at sunset. Very nice place with great service but don’t sit at the bar all day or your check will be a bit $$$$ but I guess that’s what you can expect from a resort on an island. Good luck.
I was up there mid September last year. We pulled spinners behind bottom bouncers and did very well on lots of spots around Oak and Little Oak Island. Most of our fish came on minnows at that time but most of our slot fish came on crawlers.
