Summer pike fishing

Last year I got into a really good pike bite in peterson lake south of wabasha on pool 4 in the middle of summer. Had a 15 fish day in 80 degree sunny conditions. Fish were all in 8-12 fow along weed edges. I have not made it out to peterson since before fishing opener this year. Does anyone have any experience pike fishing pools 4 5 or 6 in the summertime. Last year everything was on spinnerbaits and Keitech swimbaits with underspins. Any reports or imput would be appreciated, thanks.

Used to do a lot of it on the river.
Find any of the creeks that are dumping cool water in and they’ll be hanging around the mouth. The rush on the sconny side is a good bet but any of the creeks should have them lurking nearby.
You can throw most anything at them along with suckers on a bobber.
