Summer perch?

    I can’t find much information about summer perch fishing on devils lake.
    All the past fishing reports I’ve been reading are about walleye.
    I am planning a summer trip, late july, and would like to target perch. Any information about a summer perch bite, (timing, techniques, general area’s to fish)
    would be greatly appreciated.
