Little early I know but looking for a multi species fishing league to get involved with this this summer in the metro or surrounding area. Used to do the Wednesday Night Bass Tourney out on Minnetonka years ago but life got in the way and now have more time. If anyone happens to know of any?…

The st croix league is fun. I’ve fished it the last couple years with a buddy. It’s walleye only but I catch more smallies, pike, and sheepies than walleye. From that standpoint it’s multispecies!

Not Multi Species but there are 2 weekday evening bass League’s that I know of. South Metro Bass League and South Metro Bass Club. I have fished both in the past and they are a lot of fun and well run.

Bass leagues are pretty easy to find, they have their own website listing all the tourneys and trails. Multi is a little tougher. The kid fished with one of them as a third line (youth) with two of the neighbors in a teachers league out here last year. I know of two others that are in the area but I think you’d have to know someone fishing to get into them.

What area are you looking for or where are you from?

I run a multi-species summer fishing league. It’s called Fins for Grins. I started it in 2013 and its going well! This is a catch and release trophy league. You don’t have to keep your fish for proof or weighing. You do not get penalized if you show up late or have to leave early.
We have 10 events during the summer season, 8 on Thursday and two on Saturday. At the end of the season, we usually make a donation to a fishing organization as a group. This is a low cost, fun and friendly relaxed fishing league. Check it out at finsforgrins.org
