I was up on Horseshoe during the winter and it was fun. We fished around the meth hole. Just wondering where to go during the summer and if the bite is on yet?

    Thanks

I don’t think the the catfish bite is ever off there.

If you are looking for a challenge, try finding a place where you can’t catch a catfish shock

Are you related to a Nghi Nguyen in Owatonna?

I’d say fish the holes in the river and forget the meth hole.

Stay away from traffic. I dont kbow where the holes are. Personally I would fish any spot where the water funnels into a current. I fish the weed break line. Even some time the submerged trees on the shore line is an awesome spot or just a spot with overhang trees. There’s something about the shaded area for catfish.

Koetter, Becker, Horseshoe and Cedar Island are the lakes I would focus on for cats. Just throw a bunch of worms on a hook with a sinker and fish weed lines or any wood you can find, you’ll get cats…

I have caught hundreds through the ice on the chain. But I do not have a desire to go back. Fish are all small. My biggest there is like my average on the sippi.
