Been running this line since spring, not that is saying much since i haven’t fished as much as usual but none the less put in enough time to give it a review.

Really good line. Good strength, good hooksets, not as stretchy as xl, xt, seige, elite, etc. Good sensitivity. Not a flourocarbon when it comes to visibility but fish don’t seem to mind it. Knots are average with the improved clinch which is my go-to, but the Palomar holds better which i used few times to test it out.

With all that said it ain’t no sensation, which holds the bar for me when it comes to sensitivity and stretch. But the 8# sensation gets a lil squirrelly when freezing temps come around. I had major issues with sensation couple falls ago now with few different spools of 6#, once it stretched out from a snag it would absolutely not hold a knot. Very frustrating. Haven’t used it since and glad I got to find this.

The suppleness of this sufix advanced really is something else though. All their lines are so dam soft, at least this one doesn’t stretch like a rubber band.

I have been using it since it first came out and am very satisfied. Knot strength is great along with low stretch and sensitivity. I have been using 6 lbs in place of Sufix 832 braid on my go to rod all this summer with no problems. I use 8 and 10 lbs on my other rods for leaders tied to braid and also drop shot leaders. All last winter I used 4 lbs on my inline reels for ice fishing with good success. I mostly use the Palomar knot, not because I think its a better knot but it is much easier to tie with old fingers.
