I am having issues with some suffix 832 10-2 that I put on 2 drop shot rods. we are getting wind knots in them and have to cut back the line and retie our leaders . they are on shimano stradic 2500 reels and yes we do shut the bail by hand and not by the crank. I am not very happy with this line as I have had other 10-2 braids not have these issues. any suggestions or just change back the line to something else.
Same problem with 10-2 here, but different application. Casting crankbaits.
Had to go back to PowerPro.
I made a habit of giving the line a tug to the spool to make sure its taunt before reeling. Works 100% of the time for me – regardless of application

Tend to have more issues with the rod that has those.
I use the same line and get wind knots sometimes. I found this video about how to get wind knots out last spring. It works pretty good.
