Suffix 832 Advanced 18lb Leadcore – depth per color

Searched and read a few articles but not really finding average depth for Suffix 832 Advanced 18lb Leadcore depth per color. I read 70% more than the typical leadcore of 5 feet for 12lb suffix (7 feet per color). Any advice/depths you can share with 18lb advanced suffix leadcore would be appreciated?

Yep, I get the same. I drag bottom in 70′ with 10 colors on Superior.

I’ve gotten as little as 6 and as much as 8.5 feet per color at times. Current and speed dependent.

scenario:
36 feet I want to run
running 20′ leader of 10lb suffix braid
flicker minnow #9
12′ for leader
3 1/2 colors should get me there
thoughts?

20′ of fireline gets you 7′ of depth with the flicker minnow. 4 colors of lead is another 28 so 35′ total.

How many feet of leader is the norm off lead on Superior?

I’ve used 50′ but I really don’t think it matters at all. Right now I run 20# mono but plan to switch to 30-40# braid soon with a 6′ mono leader.
