Subaru Outback tire suggestions

So the original tires for my 2018 Outback are starting to show down to the red wear marks, and I figured that with the stimulus money, what better time to buy new tires?

Does anyone here have experience buying new tires for this generation of Outback? Its just my daily driver, so no off road heroics. Just want good tires that are quiet and handle well in all weather. These will be summer/winter tires.

Original tires are Bridgestone Duelers. Starting to show their wear at 35K. Would like something with at least a 65K warranty.

    Thanks!

My opinion BUT very few tires ever come close to their mileage warranty on AWD vehicles. One of the best I’ve seen are BStones, Firestone Destination, and Cooper Discover SRX.

My coworker skis a lot, both downhill and XC, thus drives a lot in poor winter conditions. He bought some aggressive, higher end Yokohama’s for his Outback and loves them – he’s normally a snow tire guy but hasn’t felt the need, he’s on his third year with them and they’re wearing nicely. If I find out which model he got, I’ll update this later.

I put Continental PureContact LS tires on my wife’s Legacy before winter. She said they were a big improvement over the OEM tires they replaced.

OEM tire’s suck on the OB. We got 20K on our 2016. I went with the General Altimax RT43, so far so good. A HUGE improvement over the Dueler’s. It really bugs me that Subaru would put such a crappy tire on there cars!!!!! General tire prices seem good too.

I am near the same situation with my Subaru Crosstrek, and I have also heard the Continental PureContact is a great tire. For my truck and Tahoe, I purchased Hankook’s and cannot say enough good about them, fantastic truck tire, but I don’t know if they have a decent tire model for Subaru’s.
