Sturgeon Spawn Watching in WI

    I’ve watched on the web cams. Would it be worth it to go see it in person? Which spots on the Wolf are the best? I’m reading the stuff on the WI DNR website but would like to know the opinions of some that have done it. Maybe make a day trip out of it. Any good places to take the wife out for dinner?

    Sturgeon guard

    Volunteer to guard sturgeon at their spawning sites on the Wolf River and protect the fish from poaching. Contact Barbara Helmick at 920-420-1140 for more information

    Scroll to almost the bottom of the page for the 3 primary locations. I’ve done all these and none of them disappointed.
