It was one of those nights on the Big River.

What was the next bite going to be?

The first fish of the night was a tagged 49″ just-a smidgeon off 50″ Lake Sturgeon.
Video being sent in to the Lake City DNR Office and reporting the tag number on the DNR website shortly. Nice way to start the night.

The second fish some might say was odd. Jerry’s first shovel. As soon as it hit the net I told him This might be one of a kind, look at his nose!

We had a 25 pound flat and a few smaller ones, if I recall the largest channel was 6 pounds.

Awesome night to be on the river. Once the stars came out it cooled down and the fog started rising from the water. A sure sign that fall is moving in fast.
