Sturgeon (British Columbia)

I’m looking to set up a guided trip to go after the big white sturgeon in the British Columbia area next year for my son and I. I’m wondering if anyone would have insight on a guide service up there or any other information that would be helpful. thanks

I fished with River Monster Adventures out of Lillooet.

We flew in to Vancouver and decided to drive through whistler to lillooet. Recommend that drive 100%. Unreal. I would take a day or two on each end of the trip to make that drive again.

Now to the fishing. River Monster Adventures is a top notch guide service. It’s definitely expensive, but you pay for what you get. In the 3 days guided we landed over 20 sturgeon with the biggest at 8.5′. They supplied lunch every day and a place to stay. I would suggest the cabin on the river if they have an opening, if not staying above the bar in town has its perk as well.

I have done a lot of traveling for fishing and by far this is the most beautiful place I have been. The scenery is amazing and the fishing is out of this world.

Didn’t know I wanted to go to Canada sturgeon fishing. That looks incredible.
