Leaving Friday AM until Sunday to fish Green Bay for the first time and staying near Sturgeon Bay. We will be targeting walleyes. Thinking about starting out pulling stick baits at slow speeds and going from there. I know plastics seem to be a hot bait, but it is not my area of expertise at all! If anyone has any advice in regards to a public access to use, depths, baits etc. that they would be willing to share it would be much appreciated! Sounds like the ice just came off in the area so maybe we will be hitting it just right??? Originally I thought we might need to trailer to the other side, but it sounds like we should be OK on that side of the bay. I just need to get in some fishing before the MN opener and hopefully this will become an annual event. I will send an update when we return. Thanks in advance!
