Not a bad idea but the last time I needed them I just bought an entire assembly. Much easier.

As fun as it sounds, I’m not looking to do my own struts. That’s what the service center at the dealership is for!

How often to struts need to be done anyway?

We recommend every 100,000 miles, unless there leaking fluid or your seeing cupping in the tires. You would notice a difference even at 50,000 but no one is changing them that often.
