Stringy weeds?

    Tried to upload pic no luck. OK what are those annoying weeds that are deep very stringy a flower bud of some type on the top. Constantly in the motors they seem to be worse in the fall. I wish I could get the pic but it must be common it’s all over.

    Does it look like this? If so, that is wild celery.

    Yup, I believe that’s called water celery. We have it all over our lakefront at our family cabin as well. Gets bad in the fall, one of the last weeds to mature in the season.

    One of the bays that has state-owned, undeveloped shoreline attracts a few hunters, other than that, too many cabins around. But there’s ducks for sure.
