I’m about 5’11, 170. For those who have a pair, how do they fit? I ordered a large and they seem pretty loose. I don’t want to spend $200 on bibs that are too tight or I cannot layer under either though with a medium. The closest Scheels to me does not have any in medium and is not anticipating receiving any soon.

Does anyone have regrets that wishes they would’ve went with a different model? I’m out and about with probably 75% of my fishing. My biggest fear is overheating walking to some of the more remote spots on the river.

I wore a L when I owned a pair. This was 2 years ago so their sizes may have changed. I’m 5’11” 185. Fit nice. The nice thing about most bibs these days is the bottom seam of the pant legs are adjustable so you can shorten them if needed.

Are you saying you already bought a pair and they seem too big?

I’ve found inconsistency with some Striker wear.

Late last winter I set out to get bibs on clearance. The Predator XL fit fine for me when I tried them on but decided to come back and get them later.

When I went back a couple days later, not surprisingly they were already sold out.

I settled for the Guardian model which was priced too low to pass up. I grabbed an XL figuring they’d be sized same as the Predator.

They weren’t. Was like a skin suit, went back and got a XXL. (I’m a little thick in the middle) lol

They seemed fine when I was out late last year and it was cold but not bitter cold. I’m not really out there much when it’s bitter cold.

You might look into the Guardian if you’re more active and worry about sweating out there. Plus the Guardian retails for about $80 less give or take. And it still has the floating technology.

I’m 5’11 190, wear 36-34 pants and Medium Predators is just right, though there’s not a lot more “room for error”. I went through the same exact thing a few years back when I was 170. I ordered large because I wore large in most things, and they were too baggy. I downsized and didn’t regret it one bit. Size Medium should be perfect for you.
