I’ve looked at most online deals this past week. I can make the trip up too the show. 5 hours round trip.

If I would go I would by 2 of them. XL size. With ticket prices and parking prices would i really save any money?

Ya I know there’s other stuff to experience.
    Thanks.

You won’t do much better than the Dick’s Sporting Goods deal (25% off) you likely passed up on blackfriday weekend…They will be clearanced at the end of the ice season if you can wait…I got my Predator Bibs and Jacket for $150 total 2 years ago at the end of the season….

JoeMX1825 hit it right on the head. 5 hours worth of gas adds up too

I tried the 25% off at Dicks. Striker jackets didn’t qualify for the 25% off. That kinda sucked.

That’s probably 1.5 to 2 tanks of gas isn’t it, depending what you drive. So $60-$100 in gas, $10 for parking, $14 to get in and you are at $124 just to get in the door. Throw in meals on the road and you’re looking at $150 give or take.

I’d say it’s probably going to be tough to find a deal that offsets that cost, but it’s only money! The ice show can be pretty fun, I’d go for the experience and just live with the fact that you probably didn’t save a whole bunch of money.

Other option, give Joe’s Sporting Goods or Thorne Bros a call, I know Joe’s has often matched their ice show deals in their store. You could try to call in an order or just go there if they have them, you’d save a bit on parking/ticket to get in.

Thorne will give you the show special at the store. The caveat is that most of their inventory will be at the show.

That does suck! the past few years I’ve waited for that sale because NOTHING was ever excluded…

Also try reeds. The wife and I bought our suits there. The prices were tough to beat!

Reeds, and Dicks were $1 apart on price. Black Friday and cyber Monday deals.

Dicks was offering a 25% off deal but wouldn’t offer it too me yesterday because “exclusions apply” to the striker jackets.

Price was $215ish and now apply the 25% as advertised. That’s why I wanted to buy then.

If they are going to have the same $215 price at the ice show then it wouldn’t make sense for me to buy one at the ice show.

Yep. I’m looking for XL. I didn’t seen them on eBay at a sweet deal? Can you point me in that direction?

I see medium and XXL and above at sweet deals.

Well did anyone go too the show tonight? We’re there any good deals to be found on a striker ice jacket? I’m still looking for 2 XL jackets. Thanks.

    Oh poop…sorry doah

They show the jacket for $168 and then all the sizes. Didn’t see or notice that was for the XXXL size only. Click on the XL size you want and the price jumps back to $209. sad

Keep at it, hopefully you find the right price before next March. ???

Just trolling here. Did anyone happen too see if there were any good discounted prices on the jackets? I’m going to purchase 2 of the XL jackets. Are there any good deals to be had at the ice show? Otherwise I will just order off the best deal I can find on the WWW. Thanks.

Please be careful if anyone buys one of these. Apparently they’ve been known to lead unsuspecting fishermen onto dangerously thin ice.

This is hilarious. On the other hand, all these “striker ice” suit threads have me looking into one myself. Just don’t want to chance falling through some thin ice, so I’m hesitant…
