If you leave the choke on after the motor fires even a little, you can easily flood it making it difficult to start.

This is really useful info… the Solo motors are easy to start if you keep this in mind. If you don’t and try to start a Solo motor like an old Techumseh motor… you can have a heck of a time. I’d mention that this info can be found in the owner’s manual but we all know guys don’t read instructions, myself included.

Huh, I’ve yet to flood my Milwaukee M18. On my modern two cycles I choke fully, pull till I get a pop, then disengage choke and pull till it starts ussually only one or two pulls.

Randy, I experienced the same slipping off the primer bulb of the fuel line on my solo lazer mag on my first trip this year. I put the line back on the primer pipe and put on a zip tie the same as you. I don’t know why the primer bulb doesn’t have a flared end. The straight pipe off the primer pump is not what you normally see.

I also have a broken on/off switch that just popped off a few years ago, nothing broke on it, it just doesn’t sit tight on the base and won’t stay put anymore, another bad design IMO.
