So I went to start up my auger yesterday getting ready for our trip next week. I push the primer bulb and nothing, nothing, nothing. Then I notice fuel dripping down the side of the auger. After monkeying around a bit, I notice the fuel hose from the primer bulb to the tank has slightly pulled away from the tank. I was able to get it to go back into the tank hole, but barely I’m afraid it will easily pop out while riding across the lake on the sled. Can a dude replace that hose?

I had the same thing happen to my solo I had them replace it once but did it again so I put a small zip tie on it. I wanted to use small hose clamp but couldn’t find one that small. You could also take a piece of tie wire and twist onto it just don’t twist to tight and cut the hose.

Is the hose black or clear?

If it’s black call Strikemaster to get a new clear one for free…

It’s the clear hose. It’s not coming off at the primer bulb, where you could put a zip tie on. It’s coming off at the tank where it just appears to push into a hole in the side of the tank.

Maybe a little super glue on the outside of the tube before you shove it back in?
