Strikemaster – no gas augers?

I looked into having some old battery packs rebuilt. It would have cost more than I paid for the drill and battery in the first place. It was cheaper to toss it and buy a new one, and I hate doing that sort of thing.

I hope you’re right. I’d still be concerned mainly because there area lot of battery operated power tools sold every year, compared to how many ice augers? It’s a niche market.

In a few weeks I turn 64. If my 2hp gas Strikemaster lasts another 8 or 10 years I’ll be happy. If I’m ice fishing at that age, I’ll have one of you young whippersnappers poke a hole for me LOL.
