Strikemaster lithium 40v.. where are they?

Just wondering if anyone knows why the lithium 40 volt seemed to disappear recently. Seemed like after their promotion for the 2 batteries and strikemaster jacket the auger has been sold out everywhere. Is it just because ice season is winding down? Also wondering if it’s going to be outdated after a year like the 50v (not sure how long the 50 volt was around before the 40 came out) was and that’s why they are all gone? Also if someone has used one and wants to leave a review that would be appreciated!

Sold out due to high demand, that promotion has been going on since the ice shows? Same thing happens every year with a lot of fish houses ie the new eskimo sierra thermal, and otters are starting to disappear. It’s the end of the ice season for stores.

I’ve used the Strikemaster 40v and the Ion which is a 40v as well. I like both.

The Strikemaster cuts smooth and fast just like all of their lasers. Not too good at reopening holes though. It can be done but I hear plenty of people messing up the pitch doing it.

The Ion cuts nice too. I’d say it doesn’t cut quite as well as the laser but the major plus is it can open old holes easily.

They are both very nice units.

What jacket? I just bought a Strikemaster and never got a jacket offer.

At the beginning of the ice sale season, they promoted a free bonus jacket along with the purchase of the new 40V. Looked more like a fleece jacket or pullover and was offered like a rebate deal. Send in proof of purchase along with rebate form and wait 4-6 weeks.

Reason they are gone is they work amazingly well. Tried a buddies and had to get my own for the wheelhouse. I think the demand far exceeded what Strikemaster had projected.
