Strikemaster Lite Flite vs Solo bit for Milwaukee

After seeing the sneak peak for the new Strikemaster Lite Flite last winter I was thinking about getting one for the Milwaukee Fuel I picked up last winter.

I now see they make an adapter that would let me use my bit from my Solo power auger on the electric Milwaukee.

Aside from the lighter weight and pitch that shouldn’t get out of whack on the Lite Flite, who thinks the $200 for the Lite Flite is worth it vs buying the adapter for my current power auger bit and running that on the Milwaukee? Does anybody know if the synthetic auger hangs up less or drills better with an electric drill than the standard power bit? Any other big benefits I’m not thinking about?

I’m sure nobody really knows since they haven’t been released to the public yet but thpught I’d fire up the discussion about the Lite Flite again.

I have a kdrill which no isn’t the same as the lite flite but in my opinion after having been around and using a steel auger vs a synthetic one all on dewalt or fuel drill the synthetic seem to just be the better option..alot lighter longer battery it seems and I can’t speak on the lite flute but my kdrill does not catch or snap up at the bottom I can’t imagine the strikenaster one would either…if your going for weight saving synthetic all the way…its pretty rediculous to see what they get for them adapter when a guy know what goes in to make one
