I have a Strikemaster 50v that still works fine. Will the Lite Flight attach to my 50v?

Yes, all strikemaster drills are compatible with all strikemaster power heads, both gas + electric.

I was told by an authorized Strikemaster dealer that if I put a Light flight on my 3 hp Laser Pro that the Light Flight would probably not last long due to the torque the powerhead puts out.

I’ve used the lite flight on a two and a half horsepower solo up to Lake Winnipeg in 50 in of ice during testing and had no issues. My assignment was to try and break it. It showed no signs of ill effect.

That seems odd. Strikemaster doesn’t hint at that in the slightest. Plus the cutting head actually wouldn’t bend out of adjustment, it would have to actually break.

I’m thinking just like mechanics, doctors, or any other field, even certified people don’t always share the same opinion.

Looks like I’ll be trying mine on my gas powerhead as well then!

I initially bought mine to pair with my drill for early and late ice. My craftsman 20v was not beefy enough for the 8″ lite flite and I did not like the way it felt so I put it on my Honda strikelite powerhead and it was as advertised.
I may get a stronger drill someday but that Honda is so reliable that it makes little sense to just give it away for $100. Not ready to kick my gas!

I meant to type Authorized Repair Center. Your just jealous you don’t work in the Cabelas Fishing Section.
