I bought a new strikemaster lazer xpress (10 years old ) a few months ago and finally got to use it on the ice this past weekend. While drilling, if the auger is about to catch the ice the auger stops, reposition and the auger spins again. Never had this type of issue with other augers. Was wondering if this is normal. As far as the cutch goes the second you left off on the throttle, the bit stop spinning.
