Recientely I noticed when I grab my handles for my auger it has a good wobble to it. It apears its inside the black clutch housing somewhere. I am okay with tearing it apart, but I wonder if anyone else notices this in their machines. I may notice it now more because I just got the machine down from the rafters for some solid water fishing.

    Any info helps!

    Probably a worn out bushing.

Mine wobbles a bit. It’s normal. They do that so you don’t have binding or friction buildup.

Yes, that is normal and by design. You do not need to tear it apart. They should all do that, check the owners manual or website.

Make sure your Allen wrench bolt is tight to your auger. Mine had a good wobble to it also and it was a couple turns loose. Hope it’s an easy fix like mine was for you.

This is fix 1. At some point it will go to fix 2 which is probably the bushing reference above or a bearing. The guys at http://h2outfittersmarine.com/ did that two years ago for me.

This is assuming the wobble is more than should be there. Since the op mentioned it’s recent I’m taking that as a worsening symptom, not desired factory play.
