Has anyone had any luck with blade sharpeners such as the StrikeMaster $10 plastic hand sharpener? I drilled in some ice that had sand in it and mine went from sharp to shot in 3 seconds!!

If its a chipper blade and you have a stone that will work pretty good. That’s what I use.

Ive tried it and I wasn’t impressed. Better off just buying new blades.

Put your money towards a chipper replacement drill and never worry about it again. Lazers are too touchy and undependable. What if you were miles from home on trip when that happened?

Get those blades sharpened by a shop and buy another set as spares. I always care a spare pair with me.

The chipper bit is also a good option.
