Strikemaster drill adapter

I was wondering if anybody here has used this adapter on a 8″ strikemaster hand anger? How did it work? Also I’m a little confused on the flange for it as sportsman guide says it is only needed if your attaching to the power auger,but what’s stopping the hand anger from sinking if it becomes unattached. Milwaukee m18 fuel is the drill I have.

I use the Kovac Ice master adapter. It works great, had it for years already. I also run the Milwaukee m18 fuel.

I checked out the kovac adapter and seems like a better, more thought out product than the strikemaster. A little more money but what ice fisherman cares about a price tag right! Thanks for the info
