2.5 hp, 8.25″ auger. 3 seasons old. Have had it serviced at D-Rock each year. New blades last year. Its going to need a trip to for service for a new kill switch and possibly a tune up. Had it out last Wednesday and drilled about 30 holes but it wasn’t in tip top shape. But I’ve got some gift cards burning a hole in my pocket so a new Lazer Pro is in order. $225

I believe a new kill switch is about a $5 part that can be replaced with a screw driver. Someone can correct me if I’m wrong. I also had new fuel lines put in and a carb kit last fall.

    New switch is about $15.

I would trade you my 8″ lazer for your chipper bit. I also have a set of extra blades that I would include for $25.

Thanks, but I’ll have to pass. just bought the new Lazer Pro today.

Why do you prefer the chipper bit? Re-opening holes?

Exactly! I would not reopen holes with the Lazer bit.
