Just thought I would share an experince about a new 24v stikemaster I just bought. Recieved a new unit last week charged up the battery and headed north. When I got to the lake the unit would not turn or even make a sound. I contacted Strikmaster and they said that is very common problem with the new drills this year but the fix is easy. The button you press to make the drill turn has a coating on the circuit board underneath and needs to be depressed and rocked side to side 10-20 times to clear the material and the drill will then turn.

Isnt that something any company worth a schitt would have a QC department figure out before all the product ships.

That’s cheap. I got the 40v lite flite with extra battery for 405 shipped to the door, also came with the regular blade cover and the new magnetic cover.

It’s definitely worth it. But I’d hunt for one for that price w spare battery. My package was 379. Taxes made it up to 405 and free shipping.
