Strikemaster 2 stroke spinning at idle

Have a new 2 stroke SM Auger and on the last day of my ML trip 2 weekends ago, it started spinning at idle. It continued doing so this weekend when I was up in Hayward.
It’s mostly an issue as I can’t spin the lower unit when it’s off to get it to lay in my sled’s Auger cradle when I’m packing up. It’s almost like the clutch/fly weights are permanently engaged?
Any ideas for a simple fix or am I going to have to take it in?
    Thanks!

There is a screw behind the choke plate on the carb that adjusts the idle. Back that screw off about 1/8 of a turn and start your auger. If it still turns shut of auger and repeat as necessary. I had the same issue with my lazer mag this year and doing this took care of it. Hope this helps!

    Broken clutch spring.
Easy to do, the part is common to fail in SM.

The video is for a Jiffy but the set up is the same for SM. Go to about 4:30 and you will see the parts.
