Fished the Cedar in Waterloo Saturday. Water is low with maybe a foot of clarity so not bad. Caught several, I mean several, small smallies from minature to 12 inches. The future looks good based upon the number of small fish caught. This is a good thing. A couple of nice chunky 16 inchers were caught as well along with a couple northerns of decent size. All fish were in very good condition.
Also caught (hooked) was some interesting debris including a sheet. The floods of June have made for some strange structure to say the least. There is some funky stuff hanging in the trees along shore. Shoes, furniture, the kitchen sink?
Everything (sheet included) came on crankbaits.
