Met up with Bill B tonight and hit the Cedar. My buddie caught some smaller eyes and a couple bass, and the only fish i connected with was a 22″ walleye. Nice, thick, healthy fish. Thanks for the great night Bill!!!

Sweet! Nice fish Dylan. I haven’t been out for awhile. I need to get to the Mississippi for a fix.

Chapped hands, a runny nose, and a wind burnt face…it’s walleye time. We’ll do’er again sometime.

It’s that time of year on the Cedar again guys, and it’ll only get better from here!! Please remember to release any fish over twenty inches so we’ve got a shot at some trophies later!

That’s a great looking walleye. Nice job!

Hit the Iowa near Riverside last night. We got an 18″ sauger, two 15″ saugers and a 15″ walleye. I lost a hog walleye that i thought was a snagged carp – but my minnow was completely skinned. Damn!!!

The walleye came on a jig and minner. Hopefully the bite continues to be hot for big fish!!

Bjg, i hear you on the brokeness. I have a 16ft Crestliner, but took it home for the fall to focus on school/track/hunting, or i would take you out anytime. Pheasant opener this weekend, so that means all the marshes will be void of duck hunters, so i’ll be waterfowling this weekend!!!

Yep, i run Track at UNI, so that eats up a lot of my time, but pays for school at the same time. I fished the section from Waverly to Janesville a lot this summer, but i haven’t this fall. I’ve hunted it for ducks a lot though. I’m going to fish it one of these days…

I couldn’t catch squat last night up shallow. Maybe the fish have gone deeper now. Will have to try some deeper holes this weekend.
