Made a trip this Friday with Where’s Waldo from the site, and his freind Bob. We put in below the dam in Waverly and fished a couple spots, leaving with several keeper walleye and plenty of Doug-fish, i mean, carp. A couple decent smallies thrown in for good measure too. Fish came on a variety of lures, anything from cranks to crawlers to softbaits.
One smallie was large enough to be photo worthy, pics to come!

Well since i’ve boated so many large fish this summer, i thought i would work at the opposite end of the spectrum, so here is a pic of how that idea worked!
Once Bob saw how good i was doing, he thought he would join in!
I was a champ catching small fish, then it was all ruined by the decent smallmouth!
Seriously though, we had a great day, we able to get into a couple keeper walleye and decent smallies, and some carp, all from one spot too! Thanks again for a great day on the water Doug!

Where is the pix of the Doug-fish? What end of the boat did waldo put you in? when ever I fished with Waldo he allways puts me in the end of the boat where the small fish allways bite.

Four day weekend, no classes on Friday! Cross Country meet cuts it down to three day weekend though….
