Launched the boat south of Waverly again, floated to north of Janesville. Had a pretty good day, caught about 10 Walleye, with a limit of keepers between 13-15″. Lost one larger one, and caught a couple smallies from 10-15″. Two enormous carp too, really fun on 6lb test! Caught walleye on cranks or worms, and smallies on cranks, and carp obviously on worms also.

Sounds like a good trip. I’ve talked to guys returning from Canada who didn’t catch that many fish all day. It should be a good Fall locally if the summer bite is any indication. Keep the reports coming.

Great report! The fish will be happy to see you go back to school!

I’ve got a friend that lives on the river and i use his 4 wheeler to pull out, works pretty good. Last night, i was out a little later than i wanted and ended up floating/driving 2 miles of river in complete darkness!
