Fished tonight from about 8:15pm-10:15pm. Several small eyes, lost once decent one, probably 15-17″ at the boat. All on crawlers again.

Yeah, i seems to be current right now. I’m fishing about 2-4 FOW where the current creates a seam along a pool of water. Drop a finesse rig with a crawler onto the bottom along that current break, give it a minute or two, and you usually have a hit. I haven’t fished any plastics since i’ve had such good luck w/ crawlers, it’s hard to switch!

I made it out tonight and managed one eater sized eye and lost a nice kitty about halfway in.

I was on shore fishing by the boat ramp. I should also add that the walleye and lost fish both were on crawlers, the Sonny’s didnt produce anything but a few weak taps.

we were in a transition where it goes from 3fow to about 7fow and anchoered in 6fow. pitching jigs upstream a bit along a nice seam and jigging it down stream along side the boat. repeat. whack.
