made it out for a couple hours mid-day about 11am-3pm. Caught two channel cats, one was about 5″ and the other one about 16″, so he came home with me. Several 2-3lb suckers, and a big smallmouth. He measured 18 1/2″!!! He put up quite a fight!
Man, you’re making me jealous. What kind of reel is that laying in your boat?
Calcutta 151. I’m not left handed, it just seems easier to reel with my left hand, instead of casting, then switching hands. Also, i’m right handed, so it’s eaiser to manuver the rod with my right hand, more precise. Shimano for life!!!
Calcutta? I thought you were a college kid. About another month or so and I can MAYBE take some time off.
Yeah Bill, give me a ring anytime you want to head out. With school starting, and Cross Country meets every weekend out of state, my fishing time will be severly cut down.. 
Not to mention, hunting season is coming, soo many choices…
