Fished the Cedar again tonight for an hour or two with nothing biting. Fished a different spot, and wasn’t too pleased with it, but you win some and you lose some. Anyone else having any luck on the Cedar?

If catfish interest you at all they are bitting north of Vinton.

River has dropped a lot this week and cleared up some too. I was hammering the smallies last night, but they were in a lot different place than they’ve been recently. I assume the walleyes and other fish have moved too. Most nights I’ve been picking up a mixed bag with walleyes, bass and crappies. Only 1 crappie and no eyes last night. The river looks to be very fishable now and it’s at a near normal level here in CF.

Where at north of Vinton? I fished at Vinton the other night and didn’t even get a nibble. Also, what are they biting on?

I have caught them at Minnie Estemma, Wyman Park and the boat rammp near Mt. Auburn to name a few. Crawlers work ok but good old sonny’s dip bait is the best right now! Let me know if you want to go sometime!

Been picking up eater size cats in Waterloo, also on dip bait. Some have been chucked full of crawdads.

Fished the cedar last night in waverly. Caught three smallies and a small northern nothing to fast and furious though. Hit a couple of my hot spots.

If the catfish are full of crawdads nows the time to set lines or guinie rods with crawdads in the shallows and check them all night if you can.
