Cedar River 3/7/06

    The river has gone down quite a bit in waverly below the dam. Both flood gates are closed now. Saw a guy fishing down there last night and was hooked into a decent fish but didn’t see what it was.

    Any recent reports from the river? What’s the water like?

    Still high, but probably fishable.

    saw two guys fishing below the dam in waverly this morning. Not sure if they were catching anything but the river is starting to come back down. Prob. be fishable real well in a week or so without any rain.
