Cannon river in Morristown

    Usually i go camping at maiden rock on morristown, the bike trail goes right over it. I fished it in a canoe, not much, can you help me out and put me on fish for next summer

    Hey Gimpy, You can usually find fish below the dam there. Since you are looking for a next summer bite, about spring time I would check regularly with Sid, the new owner of the bait shop in Waterville as Dennis sold it awhile back ago, for the latest up to date info on the stretch of the river His phome number is 507-362-8929.     Hey Gimpy, try this, go below Faribault about half way between Faribault and Northfield, there are some great holes through there, fair size cats, some walleye, good bass action and a whole lot of big Northerns. This area doesn’t get a lot of attention so the action is fairly good. and I left them all in there for you!
