Anyone fish the backwaters of the Cedar through the ice? I remember seeing a few guys out on Robins lake years ago, but the last few I haven’t seen anyone venturing out on it. Someone claimed that the borrow pit by Mowhawk was a good place to find crappies. I have also caught crappies, catfish, and ‘gills in the backwaters East of the Palo bait shop, but not with the regularity that I’d like to see.
