hows the trout

    i was just wondering how the trout fishing has been?anyone been catching and pig lately? whats the water clarity like on most streams right now?

    fluke, I made it out for a couple of hours Sunday morning and only landed two trout and one smallmouth. One of the trout measured almost 19 inches and was probaly the darkest brown trout I have ever caught. The streams where I fish (SW Wis) all seem to be stained and today I noticed alot of green weeds floating in the current. Made fishing tough along with the hoardes of gnats that seemed to follow me everywhere I went.

    If you can find fishable water, troutin’ is just fine! I personally haven’t made it out in response to flooded waters!
