Good Day Good Friday

    Went out with a buddy Good Friday. Fished right in town (Cedar Rapids). Only fished for about 5 hours. Caught about 25 nice 2-7 pound channel cats. Kept a dozen for some really good eating.

    The river seems to be back to normal level, didn’t get the boat stuck once. Caught fish at every spot we tried. Used cut shad and sucker and some shad guts. Most were caught around brush but more were caught just in the channel adjacent to brush.

    Had a lot of fun. I hope this is a sign of the year to come.

    Good job Skunkboy, sounds like a good time. It’s nice seeing water in it again though, hopefully we get rain later on to keep it up decently.
