Checked the Cannon today and a good half or more of the ice was gone. The water level was low. Stopped and talked to Lyle at Fairbault Bait and Tackle [ good place to shop over there and buy bait ] and he said the lakes in that area are 2 1/2 ft. low right now so they need the spring rains to come. The water below the dams is open so quick fishing fixs are available there. Bill
