Thanks for signing up 17 minutes ago…..
Definitely going to check into walkie-talkie-Tv…..
Please….tell us more!
They are a new streaming company out of Maryland. They are smaller with much better customer support. They aren’t going after millions of people like directv or sling or hulu or those big corp America guys.
Do they just scan the internet and find these forums to let all us sportsman to know that they arnt searching for us.
I was going to hit the SPAMMER button, but I think I let this one go for a bit.
I’ve been looking for a LIVE sports/news streaming company and so far haven’t found one.
$35.00 isn’t bad if they don’t have any charge for Fox Sports North, ESPN and the like.
I’ll have to check it out tonight. If anyone else tries the free trial, please report back here.

Cloud DVR and Catchup TV Included in all packages for FREE.
The reason I came here was to give you other options for streaming while you were out. Not trying to cause any issues. Thank you for not hitting the spam button. If you don’t like the free trial or have any suggestions please let me know. We aren’t trying to become the big fish in this area. Like that?
I just want to see local news live and IDO TV @ 8 am Sundays on Fox Sports North. ESPN for a couple of our members.
I think there’s a lot of us that are interested in dumping comcast’s $100 bills for that.
If you offer that without any inconveniences…I’m hooked. Like that?

If you don’t like big fish you came to the wrong place.
Right now we only have local in NJ. If you have an antenna you can keep all your local channels now. All the channels we support are on Talkietv.com Once we start to grow, we will be adding additional channels. Like I said, we are not trying to compete with the directv or slings of the world. Just want 1000 happy customers to save on their bills and make life easier.
Get back to me when you get the local Fox Sports Networks. FSN-North specifically.
That’s about 1/2 the reason I even have streaming tv.
Local NJ channels, sounds real useful in the Central MW/Minnesota…

x2 and probably for most people on here. We’ve got a Roku for each of our TV’s and FoxSportsGo is about all that I watch, with some of the ESPN app. If there was a way to stream FSN for a few bucks a month, I’d be happy.

FYI for the everyone within vicinity the Twin Cities metro area with Hulu Live we get Fox Sport North, FSN1, the NBC sports channel, some or maybe all of the EPSN channels and BTN. The local channels for us are the Twin Cities network channels WCCO, KSTP, Kare 11 and Fox 9. We have had it for about 6 months now and been happy. It also includes some cloud DVR space if you want to record things. With most channels also available through Hulu on demand the DVR does not get a lot of use.

x2 only regret w Hulu is that we didn’t switch sooner!
But I have 3, yes THREE Viso tv’s in the boat.
I can’t get Hulu LIVE on a Viso!
Sucks to be me.

Switched from???
I have sling and I’m relatively happy. I get all the channels I want. I’m running into more buffering now though.

We have Vizio’s and Hulu Live, just need a Roku stick.
Switched from???
Comcast traditional cable. We have Hulu with HBO and with Comcast internet it’s about 1/3rd of what we were paying previously for the Comcast Bundle.
But I have 3, yes THREE Viso tv’s in the boat.

You’d need a Roku and be all set.
Playstation Vue, Before you say it, NO you dont need a playstation. I repeat YOU DO NOT NEED A PLAYSTATION. I thought that too until i got it. I stream it on my apple tv, ROku Ipad Macbook and Iphone. I do not have a playstation.
I currently have PSVue and Direct TV now, trying each out. Both are very robust in channels including all local and all sports channels.
PSVUE can stream from 5 devices and has a Cloud DVR included. IT has live playback on previous 24 hours of programming. You can pause play or rewind programs. The only down side is no NHL, A&E or History channel. Otherwise they have everything I had with Comcast. I can watch from my phone pc, tv, pc or tablet anywhere I want. pretty cool actually.
DTNow only allows 2 streams and the the DVR is in beta, no live playback or rewind. The have A&E, NHL and History. I think the channel guide is better too.
With all of these the channel guide varies based on what streaming devise you use.
Now I learned Comcast has their own streaming app as well.
All of this is great news, finally DTV and Comcast have competition.
Sorry I should have mentioned you need a Roku in my earlier post, some TV’s have it as an app. A Roku is a one time purchase and they are on sale often at Target, Best Buy, Amazon etc.
We bought two of these: Roku Streaming Stick – Black (Model # 3800R)
Bonus: Roku also supports YouTube so you can go back and watch all the IDO shows that are available.
We have spectrum streaming. $30 a month. Local channels plus 10, that you pick

Yes, Tuna boat life is rough on the nerves.
Will do guys.
I see a bigger picture here. Give this guy grief but the more people like this given a chance or even listen to that enter the market it will be better for us all. Let them grow or not rather than diss them. Everyone ones have been so up in arms against being had here to protect themselves discourse has been thrown out the window or down the cra pper.
Its like this is becoming an association with dues to be paid. If I have been had by reading this guy intentions so be it. No skin off my skull to listen. Maybe this is not the place to push a project, so where is a good place?
