So about 5 minutes into the show? LOL

Yep, but I usually turn it back on because his golf segments don’t usually last for more than 10 minutes.

I love the Common grum. Love listening about golf and all of his show. WHat I cannot stand is the Power Trip Morning Show. I must be just too old.

On a lighter note this snow has put a ton on the lake. I just watched three dudes try and pull out a 20′ wheelhouse on the lake with a small ATV. They made it like 10′ buried it in the snow and gave up. Not going to see a lot of vehicle traffic on the lakes this year unless there are plowed roads. I agree with bearcat on this. Less traffic the better!

I always laugh when people use the term weather terrorist. To me, it just means you must like being the victim or you have a sh/tty weather source.

I use a couple online sources and find them very accurate. Weather is after all an act of God and will never be something man can predict with 100% accuracy. Having said that the forecast I was looking at for my area was pretty spot on. Got about 9 inches here in Forest Lake. Temp was accurate within one degree, and wind looks to be ramping up just as predicted.

Glad I put the blower on the John Deere yesterday. Took me well over an hour to clear my 750 ft driveway. Had been using an ATV with plow prior, but the banks are already pretty dang high.

The part that gets me is when they started naming winter storms. That is just to breed hysteria. There is zero need for that. Where I typically get my weather forecasts from are a combination of real meteorologists and some people on FB that just do it for fun and they are ridiculously good at it and very accurate. I think we got a little less snow that predicted, but not off by much.

I wouldn’t trust a meteorologist farther than I could throw one. The only other job that pays you that well to lie on a daily basis is a politician.

The thing I object to is the use of the term “storm”. Any time any precipitation of any kind falls out of the sky, it’s a “storm”. Baloney. Some times it just snows.

I’m sick of the people ( just got home from the road) on the road going 30 mph with their flashers on.
For the love of god learn how to drive or stay home or move South!!

My cousin in Luverne MN says South Dakota DOT is closing I-90 from Sioux Falls to Rapid City at 5pm today. That’s pretty much the entire width of the state.

Go too fast, people b!itch. Go too slow, people b!itch. Some people have to drive in the snow and who knows, maybe they just nearly spun into the ditch and now they’re taking it a little easier. Share the road and slow down. No need to rush.

Umy – will agree … these people should take secondary roads vs. going so slow on the Interstate system.

With that said, in the last two days I have seen four vehicles in solo accidents. One car hit the Mendota bridge … The other three were two pickups and a suburban that each went into ditch on 694 and 35 … all were likely going too fast for the conditions and went deep enough into the ditch to require Hwy Patrol and tow truck.

For those of you who need to travel West large portions of I-90 in SoDak and I-94 in NoDak are closed, with portions of I-29 to close shortly.

Forecast for Dakota Co was for 5”-10” and cold. We got this much snow and I can vouch for the fact it was cold. Seems like the forecast was spot-on for our location.

Headed west out of Rochester at 10:30 . Made it about 5 miles past Austin and turned around and headed back home . Didn’t get back in town till 12:30 . At times it was 100 percent whiteout with speeds around 30 mph . Wasn’t worth it. .
